I had the potato pancakes and they were excellent! They were essentially potato croquettes and were topped off with smoked salmon and came with a side salad. The smoked salmon really made the biggest difference for the potato pancakes. Wasn't too fishy and paired extremely well with the potatoes. The potato pancakes, were fried and tasted like croquettes essentially. The inside was nice and smooth and creamy in texture and the outside is perfectly crisp with every bite. Overall, super solid spot. I would come back again next time to try the different pastries and drinks they have.

Nice shop with good pastries- it is on the pricy side. Chocolate croissant- $6.25. Good, but the exterior was soft and not crispy/flaky Hazelnut slice- $7.50. Nutty with a nice topping of whole hazelnuts. Ham and Cheese Sandwich- $17. Tasty. I liked that you can taste the butter on the bread. Baguette was just a tad tough.

Lemon tart was nicely balanced, not overly sweet with the right amount of tartness. Looking forward to the next time I'm able to stop by

Made a quick pit stop for pastries. The cafe was bright and very inviting. They have an array of viennoiseries, and desserts that will satisfy any craving, as well as tea and coffee for drinks. I ordered a slice of the hazelnut pound cake and the raspberry cheesecake. The pound cake was not too sweet and tasted delicious with the hazelnut. The cheesecake was light and airy and the silverware just slices right through. There was a line in the morning, but it moved quite fast. Overall, great pastries, service and ambience. Would definitely come again to try their other offerings.

(Ryan Reynolds doing a Jean Claude Van Damme voiceover) The vibe is magnifique patisserie dans Palo Alto! As you step in you will be transported to a fab cafe in Paris! Joao (zhowoo) warmly greeted us! Went with the quad shot smores latté! Sooo good! Valrhona Hot Chocolat! C'est le meilleure chocolat pour baking and drinking! My Franglish is amazing! N'est pas, ladies? mmhmm. The Chocolate Extremé. Sinful. So hard to make. Sophisticated delectable mousse with a hazelnut crunch! Very Palo Alto. The Exotique Pavlova! The coconut swirling about caught my eye. Wow! The real meringue! Although in my head it sounded like muh'rang it was a crunchy cloud of white goodiness keeping a secret compartment of perfectly tart passion...the fruit, Mademoiselle! Incroyable! And it may make you cry! But not me of course. And of course, Pain Au Chocolat! The highest expression of everyday carbs! Hearty! Delish! C'est vrai! Très delicieux! Next time I wanna fly to Paris for patisserie, I'll instead drive up to Mademoiselle Collette avec beaucoup de mademoiselles and enjoy every bite! Comme auourd'hui! Would order everything again! Au revoir! Merci, Joao! Woohoo!

My first pavlova and I am obsessed! This pavlova has passion fruit, mango, and mint and it's absolutely delicious. I love all the flavors and textures. It holds up pretty well kept in the fridge for a few days as well. I placed an online order and it was ready for pick up at the time indicated. Can't wait to try more desserts!

FOOD 5/5 My fav is their pain au chocolat! They never fail, super flakey and just heavenly! My first review here was in year 2022. We are now in the year 2024, many things have changed in our lives; nope cars still can't fly. However, I am so glad the beverage options here have improved tremendously. They now serve Mariage Frères tea here. Today I even saw they have ice cream now. Definitely love to try and will update here :D SERVICE 5/5 Staffs here are always friendly! AMBIANCE 5/5 Love the place! Would love to come here with 제 남자친구 :) Update: tried their grapefruit & rose sorbet, not bad! I would love to have a stronger rose flavor.

I was looking for a quick sweet treat ans found this place. I got the lemon tart $10.50, pistachio macaron $3.25, and the cookie croissant $6.50. I think their pricing is a little extreme for what you get but yet this is Palo Alto. Pistachio macaron was not very good; tasted like they just used pistachio paste. The cookie croissant was the best it had cookie dough in the middle of the Crispy croissant. The lemon tart was awesome! It had bits of lemon zest in it. I just wish it was fresh meringue because it tasted like it was from a powdered mix.
